OCZ Vertex Plus 120gb question

I don't know about them all being identical in discernible speed. I have the Vertex2 60GB and I got my mother a Vertex3 120GB for her build, and her's is WAY faster. That could be attributed to its larger size though, so it's hard to say whether it has to do with it being a Vertex2 vs Vertex3. Both systems are SATA2.

1)Zap is referring to the Indilinx drives.

2)That thread you linked is referring to the Sandforce drives.
1) Zap was referring to the "Vertex 3 / Agility 3 / Solid 3" [quoted] which are all Sandforce based drives.

2) The thread I linked to was for the same drives.

Are you calling me pro-OCZ? 😕 I'm probably the most brand-agnostic person in the world that still calls myself an "enthusiast."

Probably anything at 1.5v would be fine. G.Skill seems to give good value with their Ripjaws and RipjawsX series.

I saw both of those kits on newegg and they are priced very well and have lots of reviews. Could you tell me what the difference between Ripjaws and RipjawsX is? Would the G.Skill be better than Mushkin Blackline?
