looking to get one of these ssd.
might even consider two for raid 0 - since Z77 and Z87 now support trim.

performance is superior. that is undisputed.
price is right too.
reliability is reasonable (could be better) - 3 egg on newegg. 4 star on amazon.

most of us here on AT will not return a hardware because we are too ignorance for proper install compare to the general public.

*** so if you own this particular ssd. what size? how long in operation? how much total write? and lastly, what is your personal review/experience?

OCZ is bankrupt. Be afraid, be very afraid.

To be fair, it sounds like Toshiba will honor the warranties. Bankruptcy doesn't make the drives fail.... OCZ got to them well before the bills did.

Kidding aside, it's probably better to wait and see. If you really have your heart set on an OCZ product, let the Toshiba purchase settle and see what their announcements are regarding existing warranties and customers. The just launched a new enterprise drive that I couldn't imagine they would have bothered with if it would have been ignored due to the liquidation.

doomer. have 4 vertex4 - all a year+ and zero problem so far.
oleguy. no rush so might wait for Toshiba announcement.

-----

the issue with the vector is that the firmware may gets corrupted due to a power cycle causing the dive to brick.

this issue is suppose to be fixed with firmware v2.0 since march 20, 2013.

*** so the real question is. anyone with a vector with the latest firmware? please reply with your experience/review. don't forget to note which firmware you have too.
