OCZ Value VX

Generally saying, getting winbond utt on anything else besides on ocz vx is a gamble.

ocz vx is guranteed to run at that high voltage, about 3.5-3.6 volts. FSB will be stable up to 260 @ 2-2-2, and it won't crap out.

other winbond utt chips used on other pcb boards (like the ones you're showing us, and the twinmos sets that made the big news about a month ago) can also do the same thing, but many of them crapped out after a few weeks of high voltage boost.

I have no idea where to buy a pair of these. They look no way near to the just released article

At least it's timing sticker is no way the same as the one on atacom. It reads 2.5-2-2-7
I would say it's better to wait till the packaging of the Value VX exactly matches the image shown in
http://www.anandtech.com/memory/showdoc.aspx?i=2392&p=8
Although the part number does read the same

I think this is a newer reversion of the ram; and we better wait for its availability

UPDATE

Maybe 3-3-3-8 is an older version of it. The 2.5-2-2-7 Value VX although has the same part number, might be the newer reversion. I suggest waiting for it instead

Nope.. This is the Value VX and came right directly from an OCZ Rep (Bigtoe)..

hm why doesn't the stickers read 2.5-2-2-7 though
hm cause »images.anandtech.com/reviews/memory/ro..
does looks more promising

That is because the People at ATACOM are a bunch of Morons. They used the Pics and Info for the Older Value Series and modified it. about 50% of the Info on their website is wrong.

I am trying to get some other places to Get the Value VX but nothing yet..

That's quoted from another forum. It relieves me. Hope it answer some of the question people rised in comments of the recent article
