OCZ RAM?

Anyone use OCZ? I was looking for pricing on PC2-8000, came across this: http://www.atacom.com/program/print_htm...&Item_code=MED2_OCZT_80_KD&USER_ID=www
I noticed there was no price posted, so I emailed them and their reply was, and I quote;

'I did try the link and it is no good at all. So I check with my website manager about this and they tell me that item is not available becasue the defective rate is too high. Therefore, I would like to suggest you using something else. If not, please let me know how long you can wait for it. THX and have a nice day.'

From the reviews I have read, this is supposed to be a high quality product. Anyone have any experience with it or any other comments?

The modules in that link are our highest rated PC8000 ram, we just don't produce a lot of them.

It takes a lot of testing to find IC's that will run this spec, so there are not many that make the grade to produce these modules. That is what he should have said or it may be what he meant, not that there are a lot of defective modules.

IMO, OCZ is the best ram out there (based on many first hand experiences) so I would be surprised if anything was wrong with them. Though I dont have a ton of experience with ddr2, their platinum xtc is among the best of the buisiness. Go with it if you can confirm the rep. of the site.
