OCZ PowerStream 600W vs Silverstone 650W ST65ZF vs Seasonic 600W

I need to decide between these 3

OCZ PowerStream 600W or Silverstone 650W ST65ZF or Seasonic S12-600W

OCZ has 2 12w rails (+12V1(20A), +12V2(18A) total of 38A but
Silverstone has 4 12W rails (+12V1: 13A, +12V2: 18A, +12V3: 16A, +12V4:8A) total of 55A.
Seasonic has 2 12W rails (+12V1@18A, +12V2@18A) total of 36A

EDITED2
I can get OCZ for 184$ but Silverstone for 179.99 $. I can get Seasonic for 179$ Wich would u choose and why?

EDITED:

AMD x2 4400+
7800GTX or R520
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum

Those would be main components

Thanks for your input.

Seasonic 600W got the best review off Tom's Hardware...I'd go for that. It's $150 or so at Newegg but they're out of stock until today I believe.

oops, didn't see the can't get seasonic thing.

i think the powerstream 520 is actually a better psu. if not get the 600w powerstream.

PC&P is the best company isn't it in quality? In that case I would say the 360 Silencer would be a great idea. It's only $65. Thats a great price for a great PSU.

First post edited. I found Seasonic 600W at my local store. And I made new poll. So from these 3 wich one u would take and why?

Thanks for any input.

Yeah I understand I really don't need such a big PSU. But I don't want to buy 400W PSU and than maybe after year buy new one bigger. If I understand right between thses 3 u choose Seasonic?

To be honest, after looking around, Seasonic isn't one of those "name-brands" I would trust. But after seeing some hardcore proof from THG, Seasonic 600W is a good one in my book 🙂. My Vantec 470W hasn't failed me yet after 2 and a half years either but yeah...different story 😀

I have seen that test at THG. Seasonic performed really good, but I don't understand why OCZ was so bad. Did it was defected, because all over the net there are many very good reviews about OCZ Powerstream.

More opinions? Maybe someone had tried all of them or 2.From reviews I understand that Silverstone is really noisy, but OCZ and Seasonic are quiter. Is someone tried OCZ and Sesonic? How they compare in sound? Than what is your personal opinoin about all those 3 products u had?

There is NO need to waste your $ on a 600 watts PSU. Any quality 500 watter will do the job at a much lower price.

A fully-loaded AMD system will draw about 250 watts. My personal favorite is the Enermax 495 V2.0 (non-AX). It's about $75. The PSU is QUIET and uses two fans in a push-pull configuration. Efficiency is around 77 to 79%, which is only about 3% lower than the much more expensive Seasonic. The Enermax also comes with a 3 yr warranty and a long power cable. I'm not a fan of the modular PSU due to the voltage drop at the contacts at high current load.

PFC is another hype that will do NOTHING for the home consumer. Any USP will allow you to run the PC for at least 3 minutes in the case of a power interruption. That's plenty of time to shutdown the PC.

Fortron is my 2nd choice. It's a tad noisier than the Enermax. Price is about $70. You will pay more for the OCZ because of the "hype". I have no experience with the Silverstone.

your dont really need 600W the 7800gtx uses less power than the 6800gt just to tell you. the 500W or 430W would still work i bet.

lol, I bet the 330w would work http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817151021

Once again, the issue is not with the TOTAL wattage, but the INDIVIDUAL rails. A 12V rail can easily be stressed even if you're only using 250W total.

I say Seasonic is an excellent choice, but if I were to choose a second PSU, it would be OCZ Powerstream. Adjustable rails are something everyone wants =)

This shouldn't be a big headache. Both are about the same price, get the Seasonic, its top quality. The OCZ is ok but it failed Tom's test.

Rail adjustment is just a gimmick. There shouldn't be a need to adjust if the unit is supposedly powerful enough. And adjustment will nullify the warranty. What a useless feature.
