If you guys plan on getting the Modstream and are worried about the cables, you could always carefully cut away the sleeving...

I plan on doing this when I get mine if flexibility becomes an issue. Also I've heard of a few people taking out the cables and running a hot hairdryer on them for a bit to heat them up and they become rather flexible.

How bright are those lights anyway?

The main thing that's holding me from buying one of these is the stiff/short cable issue, which is something I have heard about repeatedly. Did any of you who own this have problems hooking everything up?

If this is actually a high quality unit then it's an amazing deal for the price, but I've never heard of this company before and cannot find any reviews of this unit.

That powersupply is just flashy. It is not name brand. I wouldn't take a chance, the PSU is the most critical component in your computer, dont skimp on it.

The OCZ Powerstreams are right behind the PC Power and Cooling, and Zippy powersupplies due to tighter voltage regulation and Active PFC. Other than that you simply dont get any better.

Be warned though, they are very big. The wires are bent a lot in my Chieftec Dragon case near the optical drives. Other than that they are pretty quiet, definately quieter than my old PSU. LED isn't too bright but you should be able to see it coming out of the back of the computer.

I've had my 520W Modstream for about a month or so, not a problem at all. The blue LED's aren't that bright, but if you want no lights idleing at night it's not for you. But I definetly give it an A+++.
