How much better is
OCZ Performance 1GB Dual Channel CL2-3-3-6
vs
OCZ Premier 1GB Dual Channel CL2.5-3-3-7 ??

Looking for an answer of their overclocking abilities in a safe margin of an air-cooled P180

thanks for looking~~ 😀 and your help will be greatly appreciated!!

both will probably run near the same with little or no difference but the performance will run faster on the slightest of benchmarks..

I currently have the OCZ Premier.. OCZ Performance is $20 CAD more expensive, and in order to get it I have to sell my brand new OCZ Premier...might as well save the trouble since their difference is not big enough eh? Also it's $20 CAD more expensive >.>

The low end OCZ models aren't really good overclockers since none of them use Samsung TCCD or TCC5 or Winbound BH5. You need at least OCZ Gold (BH-5) if you want do some serious overclocking . . .

The difference between the Premier and the Performance series should be minimal since they are probably using the same chips . . . just put some heatspreaders on your Premier and you should get about the same OC potential (both use Micron 48LC16MA chips from what I've read)
