I ordered 2x256Mb sticks, instead of the dual channel kit. I firgure to try them in dual channel and save some money for a new video card. Has anyone had the OCZ ram in dual channel without their dual channel kits

Yup, it'll work fine - but at somewhat more relaxed timings than the EL stuff.

Um, I'm pretty sure the EL is the dual channel stuff. EL = Enhanced Latency.

If the EL is the dual channel stuff, and I can buy it by the sinlge stick, wouldn't you think that OCZ is losing money that way.

the EL will work just fine in non-dual channel mode, and at slightly better latency timings. and the non EL stuff will work in dual channel mode, but at lower latency timings than the EL. So, in dual channel mode, the EL may run at 2-2-2-6, and the non EL may run at 2-3-3-7, for example.
