I am going to buy a PC8500 memory
I looked at corsair dominator. It looks cool, and the outlook is cool too...
I am wondering which is better? OCZ or Corsair...Actually... I am using Crucial....

With a Q6600, just get regular DDR2-800 RAM. You don't need fast RAM for this CPU, since for most people, using conventional cooling (no water/phase/etc...) ~3.6GHz is ave, which equals a 400FSB.

Running faster RAM (over what the FSB is set) doesn't really gain any significant real-world performance in applications, usually ~1-3%.

The DDR2-800 RAM will be cheaper, and run cooler in you case.

yup, I know 4G is better.. but my xp 32 bit system doesnot support more than 3G ram..(someone told me that's common)..

DDR2-800 is quite adequate.
DDR2-1066 is more suitable if you like heavily OCing/tweaking, though you can heavily OC & tweak the right DDR2-800 as well.

yes.. that ram is what I want.. but it's 1066..does it matter?..

and I did not OC q6600 to 3.6G...

If you aren't overclocking at all, then get 4Gig DDR2-800. The performance between that and DDR2-1066 isn't enough to notice in games/apps.
