OCZ ModStream 450W PSU: $75 after MIR

NewEgg has a great deal on the OCZ ModStream 450W power supplpy for $90 with a $15 mail-in rebate for $75 AR plus $6.99 FedEx Saver shipping.

How is this PSU? Especially with the 12v and 5v rails. I have an ANTEC 430 Truepower that I need to replace.

Between this and the Antec TruePower 430W (for $83 shipped) which is a better deal? Also, I've read the cables on the OCZ are a little stiff and might cause some problems when trying to fit. Both of these PSUs seem to be highly recommended, and although the OCZ has some slightly better specs I'm concerned about the cables being a problem.

The OCZ power supplies are excellent. They seem to be made by TSP, who I've been recommending for years....if you can find them, I'm sure they carry a lower price than the equivalent OCZ. So happens my distributor sells what I think is the same supply, but with the TSP name for only $60.

Glad I found this thread. I just picked one of these up this morning from NewEgg.

In case anyone else is interested, it is now at $88.00 + $0.99 express saver shipping, and today is the last day for purchase to qualify for the rebate. Grand total after rebate = $73.99, or $9 less than when this thread was posted...

Oh, that's rotten. When is the $.99 shipping set to expire? I didn't realize it was a temporary promotion.

I guess I must have gotten lucky... it was $.99 when I was there this a.m. Have to double-check my order confirmation now, I didn't save the page before I bought it...

If I recall correctly, the $0.99 shipping was listed to expire on 4/4 at 6am. There's no free lunch with shipping anyway, they get you one way or another.
