OCZ lost both my RMA and my rebate!!

To be clear, I don't think that OCZ has some nefarious underlying reason, but I do think that they have sloppy and disorganized customer service and mail handling. I am still working through both these issues.

With Kingston I got an RMA almost immediately, overnight shipping, and quick rebate. Same with G.Skill.

Things like this is why I think OCZ are amazing, they even respond to posts on the egg about people saying the ram wont do this or that. The customer service I have seen from them is simply awesome. I am using some of their ram right now and props to OCZ. I hope you get yours sorted out Heinrich, not trying to derail your post.

Gotta love OCZ for things like this, I wish all manufacturers would follow suit. I'll bet ryderOCZ has you fixed up soon Heinrich.

They have a Tech Support team that cruises various forums, including this one, XtremeSystems, XbitLabs, Hexus, OCforums and more.

Obviously the most visible complaints are the ones most important with which to be dealt from a PR perspective. This isn't the second coming of the Messiah.

Sure, but when was the last time you seen Intel, AMD, Nvidia support reps helping with these sorts of problems? I just think it's nice that somebody at a manufacturer is actually paying attention. I've noticed it seems to be the RAM companies that do this the most, I've seen OCZ, Mushkin, G-Skill, Patriot, etc reps around on different forums helping their customers.

The premium RAM companies pretty much sell exclusively to enthusiasts and maybe a few boutique PC shops. From an ROI perspective, it's probably more reasonable for them to dedicate forum support personnel for us than for Intel or AMD to do so, where we are probably less than 1% of their market.

These guys are KILLING me by INCHES and CENTIMETERS!!

1 - they lost my first RMA for a month!!

2 - they lost my rebate!!

They made good on that until

1 - my RMA died in 4 days

2 - I sent it back to them. Was promised an "immediate RMA number" and that took 4 days!!

3 - sent it in and heard NOTHING for at least 10 days after that

4 - was told they were doing inventory

5 - Another 8 days or so passed by

6 - Now they've delivered it to the wrong address and zip code, and fedex doesn't know what to do! It's in the WRONG CITY!!!!!!!

They may apologize and make up and make do and make a personal appearance, but, they are disorganized, sloppy, slow, and do not follow through. OCZ is on my "NEVER PURCHASE FROM AGAIN NO CHANCES" short list! OCZ is awful!!

I bought this RAM in MAY and I have not used it yet, meanwhile prices have plummeted :Q:(

RyderOCZ I am fed up with your company!!
