That is a sweet deal...Just paid $110 w/ a rebate a week ago at the Egg...Gonna grab another 4GB...

Just curious though...How well do these SLI modules OC?...(4GB kit)...

Damn, what is it with OCZ being so damn strict on these rebates???...The rebate from the Egg only gave 12 days to mail in paperwork...This Fry's deal requires the receipt to be dated 1/16/2008...One day sales suck for anyone not paying close attention...lol

If you need these modules, buy em today...Thx OP!...

Keep this in mind.
Rebates postmarked after ten (10) days (including weekends) of purchase will be denied.

So if there's a late delivery or it's momentarily misplaced at your apt office, consider the rebate VOID.

Even though the product is currently OOS, they keep extending the rebate offer on these...Keep checking the site to see if the product comes back in stock...

Just got my laptop RAM today and finally running 2GB under Vista -- MUCH better. Now I need to send the rebate in tomorrow. 🙂

The 4GB kit is back in stock, but won't be for long at this price...The rebate has been extended...Online purchases only...

wasn't planning on buying my memory this soon but 4GB of what appears to be pretty decent DDR2 for $65 all said and done (stupid tax and shipping 😛)

I got in on this deal last Saturday. Got the memory in 3 days. Installed it in my Toshiba laptop (AMD X2 TK 55) running Vista. It did make a noticeable difference.

The 10 day rebate limit drove me to a quick install.

I am still trying to find a real advantage of Vista over XP. But that has been discussed many times before.

With 2GB, Vista runs noticeably better than it did on my Toshiba. I'm stuck with Vista regardless because Toshiba doesn't have drivers for XP. 😛

I still have XP running on my desktop with no plans to change (and Vista Home Premium upgrade sitting in a cabinet from Dell).

I have 2GB already in my Compaq Presario V572US I bought from New Egg last August. I have an XP/Vista dual boot, so can I install 4GB and still have XP work or will the 4GB crash the system since XP has a 3GB max?

I got shafter and it took longer to get the memory than I expected I didn't see the 10 day limit, I knew it was shorter than the typical 30 days but I got it in before 14 days which I thought would have been the limit, danm... I'm pissed!
