Hello mates!

Currently I have OCZ StealthXStream 500w + HIS Radeon 6970.
I'm changing it to ASUS GTX 580 DirectCU II in few days and I want better PSU too, because I know that my 500w will not handle it.

I'd love to stick with OCZ so I'm considering two models listed in the topic title.
Which one will perform better? The Fatal1ty one is modular (I never had modular PSU) and have four 12V rails when ZS one is single rail and non-modular.

I hope too that these two PSU's can handle GTX 580 well?

That OCZ Fatal1ty unit is Highpower built. While it's not in the "worst of the worst" category, there certainly are MUCH better ones available... The OCZ ZS models are also Sirtec/Highpower builds and again, not the worst you can get, but far from being the best...

Either SHOULD run a single GTX580 card with no problem...They have more than enough wattage.

nVidia sez:

Thermal and Power Specs:
97 CMaximum GPU Temperature (in C)
244 WMaximum Graphics Card Power (W)
600 WMinimum System Power Requirement (W)4
One 6-pin and One 8-pinSupplementary Power Connectors4

As far as I can tell from some of the reviews, 600 watts is the minimum recommended PSU for a single card.

Depending on what else is on your system and whether or not you OC, your 500-watter may run it fine too.

I have ASRock Z68 Pro3, I5-2500K @ 4GHz, 8 gigs of 1333 mhz ram and Xonar DX.
I probably wont risk running it on my OCZ 500w because it have only 38 ampers.

which ones?

uhm, I'm not american so I'm gonna have to take a look around for models in the same price class, but generally speaking Seasonic and Seasonic built PSUs is about as good as it gets.

this is my goto PSU:

it's a tiny bit more expensive than the OCZ, but 7 years warranty and Corsair quality and customer service is worth it. It probably delivers higher wattage than the OCZ unit too(Corsair is very conservative with their ratings).

650W would've been fine .... You could run two 580's off of that XFX (<700W at load)

You bought a better PSU with the XFX, but you bought way more than you need. That's not necessarily a bad thing...I prefer to have a fair amount of "headroom" with my power supplies.
