Does anyone have the Enermax mounted at the bottom of a tower case?

I have the coolermaster sniper case and saw this quote from Jonnyguru's review:

"The motherboard cables are a bit short, but that shouldn't be a problem for those with a standard ATX case. I only see it being a problem with cases where the power supply is in a separate chamber or the power supply is at the bottom of the case."

I was going to buy the Corsair 850HX for a new build, but this is less than 1/2 the price AR.

Forget the 850HX.
The 850HX is still selling at $180+ everywhere.
The 750HX is selling for $129.99 now on ZZF.

Marking for morning.

I've been looking at a 600w OCZ for a soon-ish desktop build, but one of these 7's might be a good plan in case I change my mind about the video card down the road.

Thanks for the heads up on the 750HX. Newegg's PSU calculator says I should get a PSU with 943W. That would pretty much max out the 750HX. Surprisingly, Antec's more detailed calculator says 404W. That's a HUGE difference!

I am planning on a crossfire 4890 setup with 4HDDs with an i7 CPU and 6GB DDR3. Anyone care to comment on the 750W being enough for me?

Thanks!

750W is well more than enough, especially from a quality PSU manufacturer like Corsair.
That deal on ZZF will be ending soon...Get it while you can.

Thanks for the confirmation on having enough power. I jumped on the 750HX.

Make sure you call ZZF and ask them to send you an original receipt.
I've heard stories of people's rebate getting rejected because they consider printed invoices sent in an email to be unacceptable.

Thanks.

After I requested it, ZZF emailed a PDF file of an invoice to me. The instructions do say "copy of invoice," so I will keep copies myself and follow up closely.

This has me a bit worried too since I have a P180 as my main case. I figure if it really won't work I'll build my main machine in my spare sonata 3 case since that has a more conventional layout though is not as quiet.

FWIW, I had a Sniper case that I used as a build w/a 520HX PSU. No problems w/length on any cables. On the P180 I had, OTOH, I needed an 8-pin extension.

I got my Enermax PSU today and had a nice discovery... they included an extra PCIe 6+2 pin adapter so now it has four total PCIe connectors. One 6+2 is still included in the attached cable, two more 6 pins hook to the red connectors on the PSU, and this last 6+2 hooks into two of the regular black connectors on the PSU. The box now advertises quad graphics vs triple on the newegg pictures I was going by. Kinda a nice surprise...

One thing though... dang this box is big and this PSU is freaking heavy!!!

Thanks again OP!

Looks like the rebate is now $40 instead of $60.
I was tempted, but guess I waited too long. That kinda killed it for me.
I'll stick w/my HX520 for now.

Just ordered OCZ 700w for $49 AR, deal is good and i guess it will hold with i7 920, OCZ XMC 6GB 1600 RAM, 150GB WDR+1TB WDC+1TB HITACHI HDDs, motherboard will be from ASUS i hope (ASUS Rampage II Extreme $330 vs $290 ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 ????) and GPU from XFX 5850 or 5870 .
What do you think guys ?

I'm in, thanks OP, this deal lasted a long time. I noticed my pre order on windows 7 is coming close to release, have to build a new box for that, I have a case and now psu, just need the rest now.
