I see the to rebates, but both require original UPC to be cut, hows that work out?

also, further review determines that both rebates get mailed to the same location, but different departments.

If anybody is interested, I emailed buy.com CS and got this reply,

Thank you for contacting Buy.com.

Please be informed that for the rebate submission for item #206526699,

If the PSU is from a decent OEM, it should be just fine. For reference, I measure ~180W idle and ~280W peak (2x Prime95, burning DVD, 3DMark06 looping) with my rig :

Gigabyte 965P-DS3
E6600 @ 3.6GHz
4x1GB Corsair XMS DDR2-667
8800GTS 320MB (Stock)
Single HDD + DVDR/W
4x Panaflo 80mm fans
Corsair HX520W

The efficiency on the HX520 is decently high, but even then it won't be anywhere near 90%. So that really translates to say ~145W idle, ~224W peak. 😉

Oh never mind, I didn't read through the whole thread 😱. Only one of the two rebates is valid. Looks like Buy.com was trying to pull a ClubIT-style rebate and failed.
