Bush gives an off-the-cuff speech so eloquently and in command of all the issues and then tells us at the end that the last 8 years were just a psychological experiment and a joke.

Troopergate.
I get the feeling troopgate is going to turn out to be a bunch of nothing.

If there was something serious we would have already known. Just look at past scandals where we have known the most damning info long before the final reports were released.

The guy she fired is already on record saying that Palin never pressured him to fire the trooper.

I agree that it's a bunch of nothing, more or less. It's the part about her not cooperating in the investigation that's becoming an issue.

This may be true, but if Palin had someone peek into the troopers personal file (which they are not allowed to do) she had someone break the law on her behalf. Doesn't matter if there is pressure there or not.

McCain will mix up his meds and take Viagra just before a Speech. While onstage and with a lump in his pants and hankering in his gut he'll grope Palin before he realizes what's happening.

At 8:00 in the morning that made me lol at my desk! Thank you!!!

There sure are a lot of conflicting reports on this one ;)

Here's what cnn article posted today says:

"Monegan says while no one directly demanded Trooper Mike Wooten's dismissal, he felt pressured to do so by Palin, her husband and staff. He believes his refusal to fire the trooper led to his own firing. Upon the dismissal, Monegan was offered a position as executive director of the Alcohol Beverage and Control Board, but turned it down."

After the debates are over with Obama is way on top again, as the reps have no issues to stand on... So they open up the bag of tricks and really start spreading some whoppers to avoid talking about the issues... Oh wait. That was August... Well, it will happen again I am sure.

Ironically, that would be the stupidest thing he could do.
