I like your Ubuntu desktop. Did you alter the pre-existing themes or is that something you installed?

Got the background from 4chan and just tweaked the default theme to get it looking how I wanted. The biggest change is just the size of the taskbars, which are stupidly small in the default theme.

Aaaahhh you're one of those side-taskbar people. :|

IMO it makes web browsing better, since most websites are higher than they are wide. Newegg, anandtech, etc don't even take up the full width of my 1280*1024 screen :(.

I like this background... where'd you get it, or did you make it?

I absolutely *hated* having the taskbar on the side for taskbars prior to Win7... probably because the text alignment and truncation bother me. A lot. But with Win7, it annoys me to no end when I have the taskbar on the bottom (for widescreen monitors)... it *must* be on the left.

Do some of you have real copies of Win7 now? I'm still using Build 7100, will upload in a sec.

Yup, Windows 7 Prof full/real version for free, courtesy of MSDNAA and my university.

I have to have the taskbar on the side at work. I usually have 15-20 windows open and I hate searching through the bottom to find what I need.

I am not saying that all those windows are work related though......
