My system includes and IWill KK266 mobo and an Adaptec AHA-2940U2W SCSI Host Adapter. When I bump the FSB up, I cannot boot from my SCSI Hard disk. Even the slightest increase of the FSB to 134 will cause this. I have heard that increasing the FSB freq also increases the PCI Bus frequency. Is it possible that a 1 Mhz increase of the FSB would result in an out of spec PCI Bus freq? It just seems odd that I can't increase the FSB.

I had an Adaptec 29160 and it would take 143 mhz bus speed fine which is roughly 35.75 mhz in PCI bus speed.
But that is a 64 bit PCI.

A FSB speed of 134 should have a PCI bus speed of 33.5... PCI spec is 33 mhz.
It should easily handle this IMO.

I would check other components.

Adaptec cards don't like out of spec PCI bus speeds I guess.

PCI 2.1 = 33.3mhz/66.6mhz
