Hi all, please bear with me on this (i hope it's in the right section?) Can anyone help with this?...i have the following and would like to hear from anyone with the same/similar setup and what settings you used on your mobo to get the highest and stable OC's.

Core 2 Quad 9550 stepping C1 (lapped)
Asus Blitz Formula SE
Arctic Freezer Pro v.2 HSF (lapped)
2 x 2GB (4GB total) G Skill F2-8500CL5-2GBPK matched
Shappire HD5500 1GB Silent GFX
2x Raptor 34GB in raid 0
1 X Samsung 1TB for data
CoolerMaster GX RS-650-ACAA-E3 PSU 650W
BIOS version 1702

Now, i am by no means, an OC'ing expert and have only done a bit years ago with the P4 Presscott CPU's (man, were they way toooo hot!) but back then, all i had to worry about was the cooling, FSB and CPU volts...now there's a whole bunch of new bits that baffle me! I have now come into possession of the above and have only managed to get upto 3.4Ghz stable. Can anyone out there show me their settings to get this rig faster/higher/stable? Thanks in advance. :)

I got my overclock pretty simply by disabling C1E and that sorta crap, turning on LLC, setting voltage to 1.392. You apparently do not want to go above 1.4v. I've been running at 1.392 24/7 for like 3 years with no instability issues. Since its a C1 stepping i wouldn't expect 4 ghz on that chip though. I didn't even touch any of the advanced overclocking settings so it doesn't seem too necessary.
