I found a benchmark program here, so I tried it for the hell of it. I was suprised to find that if I overclocked my Palm IIIxe over 16 MHz that it would score less on the the benchmark. Anyone else try this? If so what were your results? Here's my results...

Stock (16 MHz) - 97% :(
Memory tweak (16 MHz) - 115% :)
Memory tweak and other tweaks (16 MHz) - 120%
Memory tweak and other tweaks (20 MHz) - 115% :Q
Memory tweak and other tweaks (22 MHz) - 115% :Q :Q
Memory tweak and other tweaks (24 MHz) - 115% :Q :Q :Q
Memory tweak (24 MHz) - 107%

I didn't even know you could OC a damn PDA...I just got the m100 myself. Simple and all I need it to do.

I've managed to get my IIIxe up to 32MHz. At that speed, I had to fool around with the screen's refresh rate because it started flickering. Also, the sound was a bit off but sound on a Palm is a joke anyway. I would keep it at that setting but it sucks batteries. If you underclock your processor to 10MHz I think the batteries could last half a year with moderate use.

Yeah, I wired my toaster for 480 volt, 3 phase. Does a piece of toast in around 15 seconds.

Anyway, I've heard the PDA's chew up batteries when they are overclocked, although I've never personally tried it.
