Ocing help on am2

Whoa! I don't think you should be overclocking with that board. Anyways...

Did you read Zebo's guide? Visit overclockers.com for tips on overclocking and how to OC.

Zebo's guide is the first thread in this section of the forums.

As far as OCing goes, yeah that ECS board probably won't do too well, so I would suggest trying some more conservative settings (220HTT, 4X HT Multi, 1.4VCore, 400/533mhz RAM divider, and 1.0-2V VDIMM). Those settings should result in a stable boot at around 2 GHz. If you try go to higher and it doesn't POST, try a higher VCore and lower the RAM divider or increase vDIMM.

To be safe, don't break 1.6 volts on the VCore and try not to exceed 2.1-2.2volts on your RAM.

Have fun, and for more info see Zebo's guide.

Hope you have the luck that I did with AM2
