Can I get an E8400 to 3.6 ghz with 4gb of A-data Vitesta Extreme DDR2-800 cas 4? If not I forsee an RMA in my future. Thanks for any help.

Any RAM sold as DDR2-800 should take your E8400 to 3.6 GHz, assuming that your chip and motherboard don't stand in the way. Overclocking is by its nature a YMMV endeavor. If any DDR2-800 holds you back from 3.6GHz though, it's bad RAM and should be RMA'd simply for not meeting its advertised specs.
