OChem question?

being bored this summer with not much better to do, I decided to borrow my friend's ochem book and study it.

now...i have a nomenclature question

I have a structure it told me to name and i named it sucessfully as
1-ethyl-3-isobutylcyclohexane
can I also name this as
1-ethyl-3-(2-methylpropyl)cyclohexane

would that also work, or not? I'm wondering because i don't like the common names of iso,sec,tert, etc...and i pressure using the standard system that was setup.

P.S. if i messed up on my parentheses...glady fix them for me 😉

ok, second is proper. first is usually acceptable and you should know what it is cause they often ask non-standard names on tests
