Ocean's 13

I didn't like 12 that much when I saw it in the theater, but having seen it many times on HBO after I actually quite like it now. Not sure what it is, but it tends to grow on me. The cast is a fantastic combination.

Yes, they are about Billy Ocean. In 11, he sings "Caribbean Queen," then a motorcycle chase ensues, and ends with him backflipping off his bike and decapitating his pursuer with a microphone cord. In 12, he sings "Get Outta My Dreams (And Into My Car)" during a stunning car chase involving a Ferrari Testarossa, a souped up Yugo, and 2 Blackhawk helicopters. Incredible moviemaking on both counts.

Dude, that souped up Yugo was the sh*t!! :thumbsup:

neither Ocean's 11 or 12 were about the job really. They were about getting the girl. Ocean's 11 was just more subtle about it. 12 was a much better movie for me once I realized this.

I image that Ocean's 13 will follow in the same path

If Ocean's 12 was a person, it'd be so ugly it looked like its face caught on fire and was beaten out with a golf cleat.

The sheer disparity between the awesomeness that was 11 and the crapfest that was 12 tells me that there isn't even a term yet invented that will describe how awful 13 is bound to be.

And when he's making the 8,9,10, he'll deny ever promising to make 14,15,16. Somewhere after he finishes remaking 8, he'll go back and replace all the guns in Ocean's 11 and 12 with hard salami.

12 wasn't as good because you knew there was a twist coming at the end since there was such a good one in 11. Plus I could never figure out why they weren't supposed to talk about Tess looking like Julia Roberts, that just didn't make sense.

it isn't so much that 12 sucked, it's that 11 was really an amazing movie. It's hard to beat knocking off a Las Vegas casino....But anyways, if they maybe scale down the plot a bit and go with a less elaborate crime this time around maybe it will be worth watching. One thing they shouldn't do is to try and outdo 11/12 in terms of the complexity of the crime.

Ocean's 11 was simply amazing.
Ocean's 12 was horse sh!t
Oecan's 13 will probably be horse sh!t as well

11 was good. I never saw 12 because of all the bad reviews. 13 is likely to disappoint.

She actually has quite horrible skin in person and isnt half as attractive. My girlfriends brother was first assistant director on that movie she did with clooney about divorce lawyers or something a few years back. He said Clooney was the nicest guy.

He didnt know. Remember in Ocean's 11, he wanted a big role, so in Ocean's 12, they gave it to him but didnt let him know.
