Oceans 11

Watch both of them. That way you'll know for yourself which one is better ;-)
I own Ocean's 11 (2001) on DVD and love the movie.

Yep, just got the 2001 DVD yesterday and I think I'll pop it now to watch it. One thing I'm wondering (and also hating) is if they are going to go back and double dip the 2001 Oceans 11. It comes in one of the cheaper Cases and its only 1 disc. I'm thinking they may go back and make a super enhanced edition with 2 discs. I kind of hope they do but I also HATE buying a DVD twice (Memento, Xmen, Usual Suspects, Pulp Fiction etc). Oh well, time will tell.

i saw the new one last night. i don't remember it being that good. but keep in mind that i was piss drunk and i probably watched about 5 mins of the movie total. i was too busy acting like a fool. i guess i'll have to watch it again sometime though.

I haven't seen the old one. Or if I did it was LONG ago.
I have never been a big fan of "old blue eyes" acting talents so I would have to go with 2001.

I liked the 2001 version.

But can somebody explain how/where Ocean's group got all those flyers to load into the elevator and then into the white van?

What I want to know is.
When the twins change out of thier waiter uniforms in the elavator and then LEAVE them in a pile on the floor along with all the dishs, wouldn't that set off ALL kinds of warning bell's bells from the NEXT person that entered the car???

Also why go through all the hassle of smuggling the explosives into the vault (Shaping them to look like jewels etc..) when the Asian guy was going to be in there anyway, and could easyly have brought the stuff in with him??

(Good movie any way though!!)

funny i just watched the 2001 version tonite. it's not bad. i just kinda dun like the cliffhanger at the end.

Yeah I watched it tonight too. The ending wasn't too great. I've never seen JR look so good as she did in the backseat of the car.

seen both, i prefer the 2001 version altho im sure the 1960s version was great for its time...its still a bit too old for my tastes
