Pure acetone works really well...it dissolves all the grime that commonly sticks to LCD screens.

"An" sounds better to me.. :confused:

However, I would say "cleaning a liquid crystal display".

Edit: "An" is correct for "LCD". It has a vowel sound, "elcd".
