Greetings All,

So I've got an Abit KT7A-RAID board, with a Axia 1gz tbird ( Vantec HSF). If I overclock it to 1.33 (10 x 133) sometimes after its been off for a while and I turn it on ... it won't post, but if I hit the reset button it will post - but while in windows its rock solid, with a temp of about 44°C. This too high? Too much OC'ing? Comments?

Check your 3.3volt, 5.0volt and 12.0volt readings in PC Health in your bios. If any of the voltages are below spec..could be a P/S problem.:)

As xeno2060 suggested, it may be a PS issue. What brand, wattage, and combined output is your PS? Also, to test your O/C'ing idea, just try setting it to default but with the vcore still a little high and see if the problem persists. Anyways, if a reboot is all that's required for you to run 33% O/C'ed and stable then I wouldn't sweat it.

Hey Guys,

Well its the Antec 300W power supply that comes with the SX1030B Case .. this never happens at any other step down as far as OC'ing goes.

I'm with punisher unless someone says this is way bad, I figure a reboot isn't a big issue :)

I notice this same problem when I run my 1ghz Tbird at 1.33ghz, and I'm running on a Powerman 300 watt PSU.

What kind of mobo have you got? I was thinking my 8KHA is just a little stupid.
