Nothing is hitting the fan as no one is taking these people seriously.

Regular people are showing up now more daily and independent interviewers are a constant all day. Everyone is doing interviews.

Maybe Fox news doesn't care, but the corporate media/television/talk radio are irrelevant 2011 to average Americans.

Hey Tea 'Tard's, (and libertopians) where you at? Thought you guys believed in small government?

OH, turns out never gave a shit about small government and bailouts, keep up the rabble kiddies, the evil black man is gonna get reelected. Regardless of what your stone-age media tells you.

Huh, Fox News has been covering it daily.

Its the same people who feel entitled and think that their problems are everyone elses fault except their own.

90% of them are bitching about their student loans. No one forced them to get student loans. No one forced them to major in fields that are irrelevant to todays job market.

Now, intend of trying to improve their lives, they are throwing a temper tantrum.

It amazes me to see all of these people bitch about their debt and then they have professional video cameras and expensive smart phones.

You want a job? There are plenty of jobs picking crop.
Just look at the ATOT thread about working at Wall Mart. Some unemployed guy asked if people here would take such a job and he is made fun of. Not sure when it became acceptable to not work when there are jobs available simply because you don't feel like doing that job.

Look, this is America. These people made bad choices and are now living with the consequences. Instead of trying to pull themselves up, they are going to Wall Street in order to throw a temper tantrum until they get something for nothing.

Their attitude is fucking sick.

Rabble rabble, I hate the black man !!!!

Put up or shut up, you all are a bunch of racist phonies who cant get off the black Presidents nutsack.

Dissent against the establishment is the foundation if the USA. General Washington would bitchslap you out of his way if he heard this neo-fascistic rant.

Foxnews has been actively discrediting the people in the streets, probably a good idea, they spun themselves a web of lies so big if anything goes down it will be fox that gets mobbed first.

The revolution will not be televised on fox, thats for sure. Fox is the belly of the establishment beast, like all fascist they will keep believing their own BS hype until everything crashes around them.

This little whine fest has nothing to do with small gov't so it's asinine for you morons to keep trying to claim the tea party or others should join this rag-tag bunch.

You can't help but feel sorry for these people. Through no fault of their own, they believed the lies of the democratic party. The liberal establishment brainwashed these young people into thinking that a college degree meant jobs. That education meant you could easily get a job. Now, they're jobless and they don't know where to turn. They all voted for Obama. Obama betrayed them. If things keep going like this, Obama will not stand a chance against the Republican candidate.

I don't know, because that was an entertaining read. Policy let idiots run their protest into a preexisting coral, idiots go crazy when they realize they're pinned in and start climbing fences, idiots all get arrested. Good maneuvering by the NYPD.

A lot of the hippies are saying Morgan Chase just donated $4.6M to NYPD. Can anyone find that from a news source not printed on hemp paper?

Yes, there is a lot of chatter about this, but I went digging and found that it was not a direct response to Occupy Wall Street. The donation itself was mentioned as early as June, and the Occupy Wall Street protests weren't mentioned before mid-July.

Still, if they would just pay some taxes like the rest of us this donation wouldn't be construed as what it truly is: a bribe for protection.

If these demonstrations are for making government smaller, ending corporatism, ending special deals and subsides between government and big business etc then they have my support as long as they are non-violent.

If they are for ending capitalism then they don't...

The police's #1 priority has always been to protect the wealthy first, that's been true since the beginning of time.

This is so messed up, police arresting anybody and everybody for no good reason.

I'm not sure if I would say "no good reason". They arrested people that were on the road instead of the sidewalk. I remember reading (I forget where...the OWS website's forum?) either Friday night or Saturday morning that police would arrest people if they blocked the roadway. Maybe that message wasn't communicated well enough to the people on location in NY.

Now, I've read reports that the police directed people onto the road at the bridge, and waited for hundreds of people to make their way onto the bridge before they put up barricades to keep them in. That may or may not be true...I'm not sure why the police would direct them on to the bridge instead of the pedestrian walkway. Sure, maybe it was a "conspiracy" by the police to have reason to arrest a bunch of protesters. But if that's the case or not, I don't think the arrests will have much impact on the movement other than to inspire more people that are in support of it to get out there.

"It only takes 20 minutes to shift the blame"

 Excellent demonstration of state run media. There's little doubt they are scared of the original story.

This. Unless the thing about the police directing people onto the bridge is true, what do you expect the police to do? If you want to use civil disobedience to make a point you have to live with the consequences.

I am pretty sure what they are doing was illegal and that is why they are arrested.
I am 100% sure it wasn't for "no good reason".

You do something illegal. You get arrested. Not sure why this concept is so hard for the entitlement culture to understand.

Just a bunch of astroturfing and hippies for rallying for the same shit instead of trying to make their lives better.
Really sad and sick.
