What an unlikely alliance that would be. Both the tea party activists and this younger generation want to bring down the establishment, albeit for different reasons. If they could somehow look past their partisan sidings, they could be a force. It could be an enemy of my enemy is my friend type situation. To me, the partisan bickering weakens both groups, maybe someday soon they can look at how similar their goals are and not concentrate on the differences.

The whole point of wedge issues it to make sure that never happens.

Wasn't Steeple from San Francisco?

Yeah, but he moved to NYC or DC I thought. It is believed he still posts here under a different name.
It just seems like something he and his merry band of misfits would join or try to organize but ultimately fail at.

I'm sure he is thinking about it. His entire family is up there for the world to see. Most gun owners are paranoid authoritarians and I'm sure he is no different.

Thinking about it and being scared about it are entirely different things. He will take appropriate actions to protect his family from these angst filled kiddies if they try anything.

LOL I'm hoping that is sarcasm or at best wild exaggeration for effect. I'd hate to think anyone that stupid and out of touch with America is loose with a computer.

ok. He isnt scared. He will just surround his house with cops and guns.

Looks like others already answered the question.

LOL no thanks. I believe bailouts were a necessary evil anyways.

As much as I disagree with the actions of Wall Street; allowing them to crash and burn would have caused severe repercussions for our economy.

People keep saying "would have caused severe repercussions for our economy" then bitch that these people have to much money. You can't have it both ways. Either you let them crash and burn and die off, disrupting the economy for awhile or we keep floating them and they keep milking us. You idiots seem to be OK getting milked even though you bitch about it. Morons bitching about big banks while having accounts with them lol morons.

OH, Glad my thread I made yesterday wasn't just closed because of the establishment!

I don't sit in front of the TV all day so I'm not really sure how much coverage this is getting... But I would think that people would try to suppress it since the protests are about just how broken our entire system is. And, well... if everybody knew we'd probably have a situation like egypt if people weren't too lazy and fat to get out of the house. Or if they don't shut our internet down first.

I applaud* the actions of Anthony Bologna, for he will do more to spur involvement by the people than he realizes. Please, keep up the good work Bologna!

*Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.

lulz. anyone heard from steeplebot? I wonder if he was there at the little angst fest.

Seems your mancrush is strong as ever. Comrade Vaughn is in San Francisco and is helping with http://www.facebook.com/OccupySF (of course.) but sorry, he still is not gay hun nor does he have time to waste on a bunch of mindless idiots who will be the first against the wall when the revolution comes -like yourself.

WTF, that guy talking kept getting in the way of me watching the NYPD take down some hippies.

It's good to see that people think that our country being robbed and totally ruined by a select few is totally OK and that people trying to stand against it are simply hippies with too much time on their hands.

I wonder when my son is grown up if he'll even be allowed to partake in such a protest, or if they will be illegal by then.

Probably to protect himself from the authoritarian types when they get out of control and try to take away his freedoms. So a gun owner may be anything but an authoritarian.

Let him answer. He wont because he knows I will walk him down my path.

hahaha, the poor fools are still wasting their time on this. I'd say they should get a job and go do something productive instead, but there aren't many jobs to be had, certainly not for useless leftists with no real skills.
