That's sooo lame. Credit bubbles, the Ownership Society being the greatest in history, have consequences, and we're living them, an enormous credit contraction. It'd be a whole lot worse if Repubs had their way entirely at this point. It could be like 1932, when money was so scarce that people had to resort to barter, and bank failures were rampant.

Life was still very good at the Country Club, however, well, except for former members who just seemed to have disappeared. Too bad- They just weren't rich enough to weather the storm, and neither are you.

While we can clearly agree debt is going down, I still don't see it as "way down". Much of the debt reduction is through defaults as listed in my link, and also from lenders tightening standards in 2008. Your link also points to that:

I really don't see where you're going w\ any of your arguments. If it's illegal to walk the street, everybody is breaking the law.

And if you're such a stickler for laws, than you are with the 99%. If you want people to be held accountable for not properly registering to walk on a street, surely you want people to be held accountable for stealing some 20% or more of the total wealth accumulated over the last 200 years. Right?

So you see, you're a closet 99%er. Because nobody is disagreeing that there was mass fraud that led to our current economic situation. And none of those people have been held accountable. Instead, they've been given bail outs and bonuses for failing at their jobs.

So, if you want these dirty hippies to be arrested for things like curfew violations and being on public property, you'd be a hypocrite to not want government officials who take bribes and wallstreet criminals to be held accountable for their actions.

Scott Olsen ( iraq veteran who suffered fractured skull and flash bang in his face while being attended to by fellow protesters ) gives an interview talking about #occupy and the incident where he was badly injured.

While he is alive and he's up and about, you can hear in his speech that he's probably suffered permanent damage from the injury he sustained at occupy oakland. While there's no video showing him actually being shot, police were using all sorts of "non lethal " ordinance that night. He was likely shot in the head with a gas canister.

Then when people saw him laying on the concrete ( no police attempting to help him ) the police threw some sort of flash bang device where he was laying badly injured on the ground.


Serve in iraq. Come home and have some police cause possibly permanent brain damage... sad.

Please come back when you have a picture of hundreds of people shitting in unison. There are tens of thousands of people at these events. One guy posting up and shitting on a cop car hardly reflect every person at the event. There's plenty of crazy people at #occupy events. You realize that most of the people that were arrested were because they did not walk between the lines as dictated by the authorities, right?
