Tell me again this isn't a far left/communist "movement" again? May Day and it's history is deeply rooted in communism. Will there be more marxist violence in Oakland again? Will we get to see worthless folks getting pepper sprayed while we, the hard working tax paying American, roll our eyes in disgust?

One thing for sure, you'll see nothing but the far left fringe in these protests just like the last time. Shutting down commerce, destroying private property, a call for their "fair share" of OUR money. That we even have people that think like this in our country gets a big "down twinkles" from me.

The original argument for the Occupy movement was against the bailouts and crony capitalism, many of them were FOR capitalism but the movement got hijacked by leftists, pinkos and socialists who called for wealth redistribution and communism

I'm a liberal and I think the "Occupy" movement was absurd, stupid, worthless, obnoxious, irrelevant and unrepresentative of actual liberal ideals. It was nothing but a facade so people could sit in the park and smoke pot and fantasize about how nice life would be if we all just sat in the park smoking pot all the time. I'm shocked to hear that it's still going on.

I was told over and over that OWS was really about everybody, the 99%, you know. And that it was not any sort of far left idealism with a full helping dose of communism even though that's what they were preaching.

And looky here - They're planning big celebrations/protests on May Day. I'm sure they know the history of May Day and communism.

Thanks for quoting spidey as I cant see the OP, he's on my ignore list. I support the occupy movement. I'm glad that the homeless and degenerate and unemployed are camping out to give a voice to the 99%. I'm personally too busy working to pay for solid gold waterbeds for the ruling class to participate in person.

There is a lot more to it than people standing around with signs demanding tax subsidised unicorns at every gay wedding. The global econ was crashed and we are all preyed upon by a very corrupt system that needs to be confronted. If you deny this, please go choke on something poisonous.

I see you want everyone who does not agree with you dead. You do not call yourself tolerant, do you? You also do not call yourself kind, nice, friendly, or even good, do you?

You're giving the occupiers way too much credit to assign to them a coherent ideology such as communism. Doing so is as ludicrous as crediting Paulbots with having a coherent, rational ideology.

I, for one, hope to celebrate May Day in the traditional manner appropriate to the first day of Summer.

Are you trying to tell me they didn't specifically coordinate to the larger labor/communist May Day? Really? You're not that naive nor stupid. OWS webpage even says it's to support international workers day and "show solidarity"

I'm suggesting that if you were to sit down and try to talk to an occupier about political or economic ideology you would realize that they likely know even less about communism, socialism, capitalism, or any of the other assorted -isms than you do. They're just, you know, hanging out.

I think any discontent is good, no matter how misguided.

I support the tea party too even though railing against taxes that are the lowest in decades is pretty fucking stupid.

The question is why arent more people in the streets?

That is because you are a liberal. If you were a progressive, you'd be down there protesting along side them. That is the difference.

So... If the gov't enabled it... why isn't the movement focused on D.C. and the politics instead of the "Evil" corporations?

The corporations may have bought favor... but the leaders WE all elected pocketed their money... even that saint of a man Obama.

Can the balloon juice, McCarthy.

Answer the question - Is or is not May Day a communist holiday?

Are occupiers celebrated may day for it's intended communist reasons?

The answer is yes on both counts. Everything they stand for is very hard left marxism.
