I am currently occupying about a 12 x 15 foot space on the 18th floor of a 24 story tower. I am an accountant.

Electrical Engineer specializing in automation (i.e. design electrical systems and program them for industrial machinery).

I understand that pays a veritable crapton of money. Personally I would be worried about basing my career on one MS technology though.

i know a guy who specialized in one now-defunct database

ended up that's all he knew how to do so he just became a professor after that db died off, lol

Yeah I've always been amazed how highly share point is looked upon in the business world. That and SAP.

I'm kinda in a situation myself though where the stuff I do is rather specialized, so if I lost this job the skills of this job would not mean much. Maybe the DMS100 and CDMA stuff if I end up going back to telecommunications, but it's not like there are a lot of telecommunication companies in a given city. I'd probably fall back to IT, so I definitely need to start looking into keeping my IT skills up to date, and setup a vm/microsoft lab etc.

IT Manager

System Administrator, Sr.

Unix Systems Admin

SharePoint Architect

Systems Engineer ... basically system administrator/network admin

Getting my foot in the door to be a cop eventually 😀 ... hoping my interview this week go well!

IT Manager

I never understand what these titles mean when I see them, they are so vague. What exactly do you people do?

Actual job: Red ink pen-wielding bureaucrat.

Dream job: The exact opposite of that. Like a rafting (summer)/skiing (winter) guide. Or something like a photographer for National Geographic.

Mind you I don't have the talent or ability for any of those things.

A systems admin is the guy who comes in and puts in his password so I can install updates for TweetDeck and Firefox. 😀

The systems engineer is the guy I yell at when the encoding computer locks up for the umpteenth time.

Network Administrator in training (Intern) (also my dream job)/ Self teaching CCNA R&S subjects (trying to test by December)

Full time college student

Mixolydian's wife.

CFO of a NASDAQ listed public company.

I also run IT (and Legal), so i guess my job is related to computers.

Some numbskull used no-no words with PayPal.
He made up that story so he could keep 78 bucks after he already made over 300 with his surcharge. Just think if we won more how much he would have decided to keep "for his trouble". That 78 should have gone for more tickets. Vivi is nothing but a worthless thieving shitbag and I advise every body to find a different way of obtaining tickets. If you did win something this roach would steal every dime

How can a company big enough to be on NADAQ have one person to run Accounting, IT, and Legal? Hope you have a crazy amount of stock or delegate most of the work.
