Nah I definitely care about those too. Good try though..?
Can't really tell. You have posted a total of one word on those subjects at the time of my post.

Crazy might not be the right word. How bout young and very naive and misguided. Idealistic millineal that thinks money grows on trees. New face of the party.
Didn’t realize I needed to keep you abreast of all my thoughts.
You really should re-read what I typed. TLDR; I'm more interested in the jump to defend than I am the actual act, and THAT comparison to the right and Trump.Because she's not doing the same thing that the other side is doing.
It was made patently clear that this wasn't going to be the norm -- that "someone" was from Ocasio-Cortez's team. And please, don't give credibility to hyperbolic "but what if this is just a test?" speculation. Wait to see what she actually does. There's no evidence of intent to shut out the press on a regular basis, and what evidence we have seen suggests that the press will be welcome.
Why is it that the American right feels so compelled to treat Ocasio-Cortez as if she were the Antichrist, evidence be damned? Oh, right... she's the scariest thing in the world to them: a non-white liberal woman who doesn't indulge in the fantasies of wealthy white men.

Here is someone no one knows shit about doing something that COULD be seen as an anti-media, and with no other info than her word, everyone is defending her. Seams exactly what the left is accusing Trump supporters of; blindly following.
I am actually excited to see what she brings to the table, I just want her held to the same standard I wish the right would hold Trump to. I can't see why you would think that's a bad thing.
Does anyone want to guess how many no-press events were held by federal GOP politicians in the last month? Serious question, I don’t know. 100? 500? My guess would be since it’s campaign season and they need donations it’s somewhere close to 500. I am excited to see several hundred threads about those from OP, as apparently having a no press event is a big deal. Any ETA on that?
What I find even weirder and more amusing is that she was meeting with her constituents without the press and that’s apparently a big deal. Nobody would have said a word if she were secretly meeting with people giving her campaign money as that’s standard practice.
Kevin Yoder keeps the press out of most of his events and strictly limits public access to them as well. I must have missed the stories on Fox News expressing their concern over these practices.
I’m sure the conservative media queue is completely filled with stories about conservative politicians having closed meetings they just haven’t gotten around to publishing them yet.
Again though, how insane is it that people write critical stories about her meeting privately with her voters but nobody cares about politicians meeting privately with people lining their pockets?
What’s crazy about her?
she is stupid as fuck and so are every one of the dumb-asses who voted for this idiot.
Unemployment is low because people are working 80 hours a week
A 17-year-old can walk into a shop and purchase an assault weapon
Abolish ICE
Capitalism won't always exist in the world
We're gonna flip this seat red (seriously did she forget the color of her party?)
Settlements in Palestine
I wonder how many stupid statements we can compile by the current president who enjoys ~90% support from conservatives.
I absolutely knew you would be the one to ask that.
lol like a moth to a flame. you never fail.
You have to admit it seems kind of odd for conservatives to attack her for saying dumb or wrong things when they person they overwhelmingly support says a far greater volume of dumb and wrong things, no?
Since conservatives clearly don't value knowledge or intelligence in the people they support why do they care if liberals have it? Is this another case where you guys expect liberals to be the adults and clean up after you?
and you again with my daddy is better than your daddy bullshit. damn you are like a broken record.
its always the same with you. oooo somebody called a democrat a bat shit crazy loon. so I must reply with "WELL HE SAID!!!!"
Here's the difference:
While this move is problematic, Ocasio-Cortez ultimately believes in the value of a free press. Trump doesn't. He's the one who declared the free press the "enemy of the people" and would genuinely prefer that the media be reduced to an echo chamber that always agrees with whatever he says. You can make claims of hypocrisy when Ocasio-Cortez starts threatening to revoke TV networks' broadcast licenses... you know, like Trump did.
When Ocasio-Cortez gets 97% negative coverage and fabricated news stories in the media like Trump does, we'll see what tune she sings. I'm sure it would be the Democrat's favorite tune of racism.

Maybe if Trump stopped saying stupid, ignorant, racist, sexist things while leading and administration that appears to be stacked topped to bottom with grifters including himself he wouldn't have 97% negative coverage. BTW please post specific stories from mainstream publications that are "fabricated". I am genuinely curious what great conspiracy you have uncovered and I am assuming you can support it with evidence.
I give it a 1% chance @brandonbull will provide real evidence of mainstream publications fabricating negative stories about Trump.
He doesn't have to do any of that. He just has to believe in Trump. He'll use his brainpower to justify that rather than ask himself why he does. It's easier that way because it just feels good in some strange & twisted way.
Have you ever stopped to consider that the media's job is not to cheerlead for politicians or even achieve a 'balance' of coverage, but to report on things as they are, even if it skews heavily negative?
