I was just wondering what kind of success to expect when I try to overclock my MSI KT7 Pro2-a Motherboard later on today.

I heard that they are not the BEST board to use for oc'ing, but just want to hear the experience that you guys have had.

Oh yea, I have a 1.0 Ghz Tbird (It was one of the first released so it is kinda old...i think it is 100fsb) and I recently got a OCZ Gladiator and AS2.

Thanks

I have a 800MHz Tbird @ 1GHz 1.85V on my MSI K7T Pro2-A, I'm using FOP32-1 and Arctic Silver.

since you can't adjust the fsb too much on your mobo (115mhz max) just try messing around with the multiplier. after unlocking, you could probably get 1.2ghz

I found it to be great, but I got one with the larger caps around the socket... 4700u I think.

Also get the OCrs bios. It's good to have.

My results were getting my Duron 600 to 1050 by 10.5 x 100.

Not much of FSB though..I played around at 105-107, but found it more stable if I just used the multiplier.

This was with a Taisol 742 and max voltage.

Good luck to you.
