Hey all-

Been working hard at finding that sweet spot for overclocking my GF2 GTS and I was wondering if I should be testing my overclocking in the games I play or 3DMark2000? Seems that 3DMark2000 is pretty stressful and will lock up the card pretty quickly where my games like Falcon 4 and Rogue Spear do not.

Please advise, thanks!
Tim.

3dMark2000 will often crash for no reason at all, You overclock your card to get higher fps in games not higher 3dmark scores.

Thanks! That's what I was hoping to hear = )

Just played 30 mins of Rogue Spear on 240/375 with no probs at all, where at these settings 3DMark2000 will lock quickly!

Thanks again!

3dMark2000 makes a very very nice screensaver

also, you may want to lower your core speed. It's not getting you many fps, but is drastically increasing the heat of your system and lowering the life of your card

with a GTS, all you have to do is o/c the memory to get th eperformance benefits.

Ok, thanks -- what should I set the core at? it won't give me any performance increase if overclocked?
