I'm gonna get the Athlon XP-M 2600+ and I want to overclock it to about 2500Mhz, the FSB around 200Mhz. Will my mobo (ASUS A7N8X-Deluxe rev. 1.03) be able to hit that FSB? I read that the old ( below 2.0)revisions of this motherbord can't hit 200 FSB... Anyone has some experiance in this issue??
I did upgrade my bios to 1007 version and on the ASUS website it says that my mobo with this version of bios does support the 200FSB, it it true in the reality??
Many thnsks for help😀

From what I've read, it's a crap shoot when trying to hit 200 FSB with the A7N8X boards. Some like and some don't. 🙁

I'm not sure, though, if certain BIOS' are better than others when it comes to the higher FSB.

Those with the Asus boards can give you a better idea, but just try it and see. The board will probably be stable at least around 195 FSB, so you should be able to hit 195 x 12.5 = 2440mhz with no problems.
