See my sig below for all system details.

At the 7x142fsb the system will periodically get to the Win2k trouble shooting scan meter and it will stop and put up the message that a WIndows startup file is either missing or corrupt. If I hit the reset button it will boot up and go right into windows and give no furthur problems.

I also tried 6.5x143 and up and have the same results, so I do not believe that this is processor related. I am, however, willing to entertain any comments frome you guys with the OC'ing experience.

If I try to run 143fsb or above, I periodically get the message that tells me that files on the hard drive are corrupt.

QUESTION: Is this an indication of the PCI buss or Memory being too far out of spec?

BYW, I am using the Enlight 7237 case with 340w PS.

I have my bios settings listed under the post "help shuttle ak31a freezing problems". I used to have similar problems, until I found the right bios settings. I have my cpu voltage under spec, for cooler temps. If you raise your cpu voltage, I wouldn't go higher than +.75 for the cpu, or 2.60 for the ddram.

Thanks for the bios settings.
I will try them out.

It sounds like you have experienced permanent HD corruption, and that must be extreemly frustrating.

My file corruption issues do not seem to be permanent, as they go away when I back down the FSB. It seems that only the copy of a given file that is loaded into memory is corrupt or can not load at all. The file on the HD does not seem to be getting corrupt, because as I said, when I back down the FSB and reboot, there are no more corrupt of missing file issues.
