I have a DLT3C 1800+, 2x512 Mushkin PC2100 Level 2, ABIT NF7-S ver. 2. (Prior post was before I actually got my DLT3C)

I booted at FSB 150mhz no problem with Multiplier at 14. I ran SuperPI 3x at 1million calculations without problems, however when I started up FFXI benchmark, I got a Stop Error. This definately points the blame at my ram. (Also, got 200 errors in Memtest V3.0 on tests 6 and 7). However, I had a previous notion, that my ram should have been able to deal with FSB 150mhz. I raised the voltage to 2.7V with no improvement. Now, I can only run stable at FSB 137 with no problems. Is this tough crap for me and I have to spend 280$ for Mushkin PC3500 level 2 ram, or is their hope for my system without having to spend money. Also, how does increasing the Chipset voltage do anything for OCing?

Chipset voltage should have nothing to do with anything under 200MHz FSB. I think the problem is the RAM. My suggestion is to leave it at 133MHz FSB and adjust the multiplier.

I maxed out the Multiplier, but I know my processor can achieve much higher, and I wanted to gain the most performance for the amount of $$ i put into my system. I guess i can play with Latency of the RAM, but I dont know if that will hlep much in OCing the FSB

Hmm, it seems that i have more multipliers that 14x??? I thought 14 was the cap for Athlonxps? I guess i was mistaken, because im runing 15x 133FSB no problem. maybe I should try up to 20x and see if that works...

Well, it's stable as hell <ducks>, but it doesn't overclock, because he thinks that's cheating...
