I've been messing around with my computer after owning it for a few months..
It's a Venice 3000+ that I've got sitting stable at 2.4 or so (HTT 270)
My's Vcore at 1.5, and my mem's divided so that it works out to 202 Mhz...
I'm still using the Stock HSF, as most users seem to be able to hit 300 on stock...

But the thing is, whenever I try to OC higher than what I've got, I fail Prime, or in one or two occasions, get a BSOD...

Any hints as to what the issue is?

The Build:
Athlon 64 3000+ Venice
MSI K8N Neo4-F
OCZ 1 GB Premier Dual Channel
Sapphire Radeon x700 Pro (256 MB version)
Creative Audigy 2 Value
Fortron 400W PSU
200 GB Maxtor Diamondmax 10 SATA HDD
Raidmax 868 (Silver)

If you can watch what the BSOD says towards the bottom, it should reference what the problem is. Usually it will say, memory dump or maybe reference a windows file or something of that nature. I know the screen comes up quick but try to see what it says.

If it says something about memory dump, relax your RAM timings and maybe try to up the voltage a little.

Let us know what happens with it.

It looks like I'm at my limit.

I failed my small FTT, so it looks like my CPU is at it's limit....

...then again, hitting 370 on Stock Air with 1.49 Vcore isn't too bad...

thanks for all the help
