Hey guys, first time writer, long time viewer;
I tried to follow Zebo's Quick and Dirty OC guide a few days back but ran into a few obstacles. Whenever I OC my CPU more then 1 MHz I'm unable to startup my computer. Underclocking is no issue what so ever. However after a OC ( of any magnitude ) my computer automaticlly boot into nVidia RAID BOOT something ( can't actually recall the exact name ( I'm at work ) ). The thing is; I'm not using a RAID-setup. I'm running a single SATA 250GB HDD. I read that the mobo need to have SATA locks, which supposedly are on my 3 and/or 4 slot (nVidia). I tried all my slots (4) but no success. Oh, almost forgot, my mobo's a DFI Infinity NF4 SLI. So please chaps, help the new guy out
P.S. I haven't OC a CPU since my Pentium II came out back in the days, and you had to hot-wire it
EDIT: If of any use - my CPU: AMD64 Venice 3700+ 90nm
