Editing to mention that I have read the overclicking guide posted here.

And I have been to the dfi forums, there are some problems with the bios on this board, so that may be my main problem. But I would still like some live assistance if anyone can offer it.

Rather than posting all my computer specs, and talking back and forth on here with peoples idea's etc. I would prefer, if I could speak to someone live, either via Ventrilo, or over msn messenger on my other pc.

I was able to oc, using a 3.0 x 270 fsb and process x9 giving me 2.34 ghz.

I then tried to reach a higher fsb, with the 3.0 multiplyer, so I lowered my cpu multiplier to 5, and took fsb up to 300, and I loaded into windows with no problem.

so 1.5ghz.

So I then changed cpu multiplier to 8, to reach 2.4, and it wouldnt boot, I then tried lowering the fsb a bit to 280, still nothing, 240 nothing, etc. I reset everything to default for now, until I can speak with someone.

Please let me know if you can talk to me live via msn messenger, or ventrilo.

Thanks.

If you were running at your default CPU voltage, you should try upping it a little bit. Same thing with the VDIMM volts as well. Try running a memory divider. Leave the HTT multipler at 3x. Try changing your ram timings. OC each part individually to rule out the CPU, RAM or the Board. The OC guide explains all these things as well.
