How do your overclock a CPU?

Specs:
Dell 4550
Dell Bios
Mobo chipset: 865PE
CPU: P4 2.66 Ghz @ 533Mhz FSB
RAM: DDR333 512MB

You may be limited by Dell's BIOS, however. They do not like you tweaking their stuff.

You're screwed if you have any kind of OEM BIOS, as they dont have any options for overclocking. You might be able to get a little out of your system with clockgen (if it works with your board, I wouldn't recommend it though), but without being able to up and voltages, you really can't go far. Also, the cooling on OEM PC's really stinks. I don't know if Dell has upgraded their cooling recently, but my old Dell only came with the PSU fan and the Exhaust fan over a passive CPU heatsink with a duct, that's no where near enough 🙁.
