Loved this part:
Obama is set to launch something of a counteroffensive on Monday with a three-day bus tour of the Midwest, a trip that includes two stops in Iowa. The White House denied that the itinerary was politically motivated, however.

Not politically motivated? A campaign road trip is not politically motivated? How stupid are these people? ... never mind, rhetorical question.

As much as he sucks, no one on the Republicans side seems any better. We have the crazy sisters (Palin and Bachmann), Newt Gingrich, Pokemon Master Caine, and Mitt Romney. Out of all of these guys I could stomach Romney and MAYBE even Gingrich but everyone else is just nuts or stupid.

I don't know about Rick Perry yet because I am against guilt by association but if his pastor's views are anything like his views he can go suck it because those are some of the most UN-American things I have ever heard.

Any different than Obama's minister?

"but if his pastor's views are anything like his views he can go suck it because those are some of the most UN-American things I have ever heard. " Sounds like Rev.Wright and Eldumbo.

Funny because right before that I said I don't believe in guilt by association. If Obama had the same mindset as his pastor I would tell him to GTFO out too but doesn't seem that way does it? Or am I missing something and you are going to enlighten me?

I love the mind of a liberal - "Obama approvals stink"

But that's because of Reagan and Bush and has zero to do with his 2.5+ years in office! If only Obama had complete control and a democrat house and senate could the wonders of his greatness come to fruition!

where was this posted in the thread?

Reagan, a real leader, inherited a mess from Carter, and had to do it with a house and senate that were both controlled by dimlibs. He still managed to get the things through that needed to be done, and started a 30 year growth period.

Now we have "but but but booooooosh, I can't do anything because of the gop... waaaaaaah!"

Obama is probably the most overrated and overhyped president EVER.

Good to see the american people starting to wake up.

And Obama had a dem controlled congress during his frist two years... All he does is vacation or campaign.

What specific actions are you attributing to Reagan as opposed to the "dimlibs" who controlled Congress? The tax increases and deficit spending? Those were obviously principally motivated by a Democratic Congress.

For my money the only way to bail out our deficit is a balanced approach that includes limited tax increases (you know, the kind Reagan repeatedly signed off on, and that Warren Buffet is calling for), but the Tea Party members in the House won't allow any discussion of that. I am ambivalent about President Obama but to blame him exclusively for the state of the economy is completely misguided and overly simplistic.

Reagan approval rating the year before his re-election dropped to 37% approval with unemployment at 9.5. Considering the competition I wouldn't count this as over.
