Observe and Report

uh... Seth Rogan movies aren't about the plot. I can't wait to go see it. Hopefully it's as good as Super Bad, etc...

I'm still waiting for Seth Rogan to make a movie that tops Super Troopers though.

That was the worst movie I've ever seen. I spent the entire second half browsing the web on my Blackberry. All of my friends hated it as well.

and its usually in a tent in some remote mountain without any lube.

This was the worst movie I have seen. It wasn't very funny and truly stupid. I think they thought if they said the f'bomb enough it would make the movie funny. I never thought I would see a movie worse than Ultraviolet or RazorBlade Smile, until I saw this. A true 0.

If the discussion I heard about it on NPR the other day holds true, it's not supposed to be "HAHa " Funny but more "ewww, that's funnAy, in a wierd sorta way" funny.

It really wasn't either. After Paul Blart I didn't think I'd see a dumber security guard movie, I have now.

I saw it Saturday night and really liked it. It wasn't really laugh out loud funny in too many parts - but more disturbing/quirky funny. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, but I left quite satisfied and would see it again. There were a lot of really good scenes, and a good number that I still chuckle about in hindsight - like the all the interactions with the Indian guy at that one kiosk in the mall.

The only thing that annoyed me about the movie was Anna Farris's lips. She used to be pretty cute, now she's kinda ugly.

I thought it was pretty good, but I hate the person who played the cosmetics girl. Pretty much hate her in everything though. Gun to the perv was pretty epic, same with the cop fight.

I'm sure some numbskulls here thought it was funny, but it got even less attention than usual for a prescreening

Went and saw this with the wife on Friday. I don't like Seth Rogan/Judd Apatow movies. I just don't think they're funny at all. My wife like some of them. She thought Superbad was ok, Knocked Up was good, and she liked Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

We sat down for a 5:00 Friday night matinee and the theater was 90% empty. The first preview for during this Seth Rogan movie was for ANOTHER Seth Rogan movie, this time with Judd Apatow and Adam Sandler. I knew I was in trouble.

The movie started. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. I was kinda waiting for the comedy to develop. Then it got profane. Not Goodfellas profane, but probably more profane then a comedy needs to be. Then it became obvious that the 'humor' was based on the profanity and stupidity. The couple about 4 rows in front of us got up and left. The movie was only 15-20 in.

I should have joined them.

This movie was bad. You know how at the end of Billy Madison, when they're doing the trivia contest and Billy gives his ridiculous puppy answer, how the emcee basically says "We're all stupider for having listened to that"? That's how we felt. We were stupider for having watched that movie. I mean, if we'd have left we could have at least asked for our money back. But no, we sat through the whole thing, which made us very stupid. I remember walking to the car afterward and commenting that "That movie was so bad that a Kevin James turd like Paul Blart is Oscar-worthy in comparison".

I've never like Seth Rogan. Now I despise him. I will NEVER see another Seth Rogan movie as long as I live. I encourage anyone with a brain to not see 'Observe and Report'. Garbage like this should not be tolerated.

It's ashame because Seth Rogen is just not naturally funny at all and watching him try to be makes baby Jesus cry. Judging by the commercials for this nonsense flick makes it look like he trys extra hard to be some kind of hard-ass, power-tripping funny guy now..... nooooo thanks, he can't even pull off being a loser stoner who's easy to laugh at.

Sorry you had to see it to find out how bad it was OP, take my advice and just boycott Seth Rogen films from now on. Oh, and thank Crudd Apatow for shoving him down are throats from the beginning, now we're stuck with him for another 50 or so more of these "movies".

Damn ATOTers hate everything 😛

I give it a thumbs up. Would probably rate it at 65% out of 100%...which is fresh!

I really like Anna Faris and Seth Rogen though. This was the maybe the first movie I've seen Seth Rogen actually acting in, and not just playing himself. The movie was funny enough, though they did mostly go for F-bomb/shock humor. Was longer than it needed to be. Not enough Anna Faris for my liking either. Still though, a good, funny movie. Certainly not meant to be taken seriously.

What the fvck did I just watch? Is this some sort of satire on malls? on cops? I don't think the literal conflict was even solved.

**SPOILERS**
"He's dead! Oh, he's still breathing profusely. Here, be a hero and take him in with this mall security golf cart knock-off vehicle! A winnar is you!" *clap clap*
