Oblivion Problem!

I'm trying to do the Bravil recommendation.

The quest that involves getting a recommendation from Kud-Ei. I've completed the dream quest and now she keeps asking me to talk to Varon Vamori but it never updates on my map on where to go.

I eventually found out where Varon lives by using some walkthroughs and i talked to him about Ardalina be all he says is he wouldnt hurt or or something. I even raised his deposition to 100 and he still wont budge about the mages staff.

I even read more of the walkthrough and went all the way to talos plaza and stole the mages staff and went back to talk to Kud-EI but she just doesnt BUDGE!!!!!!!

Okay i figured out what the problem is. I needed to scroll the side bar down to talk to her about Varon Vamori.

So i beat the grand champ in the arena. Is there any point to this yellow hair kid following me around? He seems like a crazied fan. lol

the *adoring fan*

yep ...he is for *practice*

cast spells on him ... attack him ... you can up your stats without fear of retaliation

and it is "fun" to lead him off cliffs

oh yeah ... he "holds" torch for you

I had the same problem. Nothing in the game booklet tells you abut scrolling.

A lot use him to get into the dark brotherhood :evil:

O im already the listener in the dark brotherhood.

I'm going to try and cast spells on him and see what happens. I wonder if he can die too.

Hah! Yes.

I think you can use one of those Illusion spells to make the Adoring Fan get more aggressive so he will fight for you! I also believe there is a mod that does this too.

actually you can...
go to the official TESS forums and sub-forum Oblivion ... there is a guy there who has a *compendium of companions* thread ... you can do a LOT [without mods] to have several companions that are actually *useful*

i liked the *killer chicks* as companions

Maxx got to Level 92 without using cheats or the console ... then played the mods ... Tower of the Lich King and Kumiko Manor are great for high level players.

Your Adoring Fan cannot die ... but you can *lose* him forever if it glitches ...
