He had the 7800 512's in "SLI" when I GOT my cards. I didn't believe him. He then changed it to 7900 GTX'S OC'D TO HELL shortly after.

I expect 7950'S in SLI soon too.

This is bizzare but strangely entertaining. Gagnan is right in the above post, this fire400 guy (who appears to be slightly insane) did have 7800GTX and then changed it to 7900GTX. If you follow his logic about saving up money from working summers to buy this $5k rig, how could he possibly afford to swap in two brand new 7900GTX's which were 400-500 US each? Doesn't add up.

Some of those page long rants are wild though, so many tangeants.

Anyway, I have enough money in my cash bank account to go buy a $6k rig today, but I'm not stupid enough to spend that much money on a home PC that will lose 50% of its value in under a year. Not to mention how irresponsible it is to spend your entire savings on a PC when you should be investing in education/career/retirement savings. Nice try though.
