oblivion demo?

Dont say theres another thread about oblivion, thats obvious. Just a quick way to find out if a demos coming anywhere around release.

Oooh, there have been so many cool demo's released lately, I'd love to get my hands on the Oblivion one too. I hope they do decide to release one.

really, put me in a park, with a cave, and some kinda indoor enviornment, show off the lighting a bit, mebby a few things to show off the physics, with no game content. i just wanna see if the damn thing runs. Oh ya, i wanna see the water, i remember thinking the water in the first one was great.

how can you make a demo from a massive RPG like morrowind or oblivion? The only way i could see is a time limit. Not like you can stop them at a certain level like in FPS

Sure, the demo can start off with the character creation(ofcourse limited) and some town exploration and you get one main quest, do it, and thats the end of the demo.

That's better. Although there could be a qualative measure to neffing as well. If it's constructive neffing, the author might be more familar with the poll mechanism, while the "QFT", "FTW", ".", and "REPOST" neffs don't gain experience with the software.

Actually, thread authoring might play a crucial roll in poll experience. More specifically, poll authoring experience would best contribute to poll quality, but that's a useless definition.

the poll was so we could get answers from a couple people, because any joe shmo could post an incorrect answer, so i decided i would put a poll so we could see the right answer, make sense?

I doubt we'll see a demo, but it would be nice if they had what garkon described. Just a little play pen to try out combat with a sword and maybe the bow, and a few things. Just to see if the game ran like ass on your machine or not.
