Oblivion delayed?

The release date for Oblivion shows Nov. 21st, but when I went to preorder today at Gamestop the employee said it was Dec. 6th now, does anyone know? For the PC version.

no the game is on track and comes out on pc and Xbox 360 by the end of November. Anyway i have it preorder on pc and I can't wait to play the game. The game forest look so real and it heavily relies on shader 3.0 and HDR. To me that game looks better than fear , Farcry , DOD Source , HL2, loast coast , Quake 4 and Call of duty 2.

How do you know it uses shader 3.0?

"heavily replies on shader 3.0" is not accurate. it used SM 3.0, but is not dependant on it

kathode: We are using some SM 3.0 stuff, but it is mainly for optimization purposes so you will probably see all or at least most of the effects with a SM 2.0 card. It will run better on a 3.0 card though.
