ObjectDock by Stardock

I was browsing people who show off their desktop vista using ObjectDock I thought it was cool but my concern is will it slow down the performance like other StarDock products - Object Desktop and WindowBlinds?

Windowsblinds is as fast as the native skinning process. I use Objectdock & see no slowdowns at all

you'd have to have a old computer with not a lot of memory to notice, I run O.D. & WB and if it's any slower than without, it's only an amount I could measure with a benchmark so I don't worry about it. Personally even if it did slow down a PC a bit, I'd take a small hit for making my system look less ugly.

I'm using ObjectDock Plus and it's using just a few mb's of resources.

Resource usage is not really an issue anymore with applications such as WindowBlinds. Check out this article on ExtremeTech which did some performance tests.
