At what weight would you be like, "Ummm, this is getting out of hand?"

I only ask b/c I was reading this thread about the 647 lb woman getting stuck in a door.

Whenever I couldn't play basketball or run or whatever without stuff bouncing around? (other than the usual)

I suppose it depends on your height. I'd say 350 lbs. @ 6 ft.
Of course, the story in that thread is fictitious...

I'm quite vain, so it doesn't take much for me.

But i would imagine most people should consider it a problem when they can no longer see their feet.

Same here. And getting tired more quickly doing those things that I would never get tired from.

I'm not sure of the exact weight, but I'd say that obesity becomes a "burden" when it becomes the reason why you cannot perform various normal tasks in your daily routine. It also becomes a burden when others need to alter their routine to accomodate your bulk (i.e. install larger doors in restaurants, buy chairs that won't break under the assault of your weight, etc.)

when not eating is healthier than being at the weight you are you need to do something about it (maybe before this even)

It becomes a burden when I cannot function in my day to day life because of it. I'll admit, I'm a pretty heavy guy, but I have NEVER complained about it, nor have I ever used it as an excuse or scapegoat. I agree 100% with what Astaroth33 said. It is a burden when you need a belt extender on airplanes, wider doors, stronger chairs, etc, etc, etc.

well it also depends on your bone structure, and if that weight is fat or muscle, i know guys who are "overweight" cuz they are body builders, i would ahve to say 20-40 pounds over the normal weight at your particluar height, but most of that poundage would have to be fat
